Leveraging the natural phenomena of centrifugal force and capillary action, precisely-controlled automation and proprietary microfluidic technologies combine to produce high quality immunoassay data, generated at nanoliter scale. Immunoassays are run within microstructures of Gyrolab CDs under control of a Gyrolab workstation.
GxP compliance and regulatory support ensure that assays are transferred rapidly and smoothly through a drug development workflow.
Save time, sample and reagent

One data point – one microstructure – no cross talk – no pipetting
Each microstructure has an individual inlet, with a volume definition chamber leading to an overflow channel, to ensure that defined volumes of sample or reagent reach the pre-packed column.
Pre-defined volumes of sample or reagent can also be added to a group of microstructures via a common distribution channel. Both approaches ensure precise volume control and eliminate the risk of pipetting errors.

Minimize the need for dilutions and repeats - high quality data from picogram to milligram
A broad dynamic range, together with excellent reproducibility, ensure high quality data and minimize the need for sample dilutions and assay repeats often associated with conventional assays.
Measure IgG titer from expression to production

Reduce matrix effects
Working at nanoliter scale using a flow-through format with shorter incubation times reduces the influence of matrix effects. The need for sample pretreatment is minimized and assays can be run in a broad range of matrices including human or animal serum or plasma, sputum, CSF and cell culture supernatant.
PK assay in 5 and 50% human serum

Reduce sample and reagent consumption
Early investigations demonstrated a 25-50 fold reduction in sample volume compared with conventional formats
Use an open assay platform

Full flexibility in assay format and matrix
Assays can be developed in a variety of matrices, including human and animal sera or plasma, sputum, CSF and cell culture supernatant, with full flexibility in assay format.
Easily convert from existing platforms
