Product characterization: Example results

In a target-binding study of monoclonal antibodies at AstraZeneca, Södertälje, Sweden, assays for high-throughput ranking of drug candidates were successfully developed on Gyrolab. The figure shows a dose-response curve with a measurable IC₅₀ value generated from a sample dilution series processed on Gyrolab.

Gyrolab in formulation development: A high-throughput structural integrity (STRINT) assay on Gyrolab was developed by a California-based Biotech company. It was found to monitor all in vivo-relevant structural changes, including those in the Fc, as opposed to many conventional potency assays.
